Dentsu in Kolkata is seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager Full Stack Developer to build scalable digital experiences for an enterprise client. You will design AEM components, templates, and workflows while implementing backend Java solutions and modern frontend work using HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and React.

Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross‑functional teams in an Agile setting. 5–6 years in software development with 3+ years AEM hands-on is expected.

Competenze

• 5–6 years of software development experience with at least 3 years hands-on AEM.
• Experience with AEM 6.5 and/or AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Proficiency in Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Oak.
• Strong HTL, Sling Models, servlets, services, and schedulers.
• Frontend skills in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JS (ES6+), and React.
• Maven, Git, REST APIs, and JSON experience.
• Understanding debugging and performance tuning of AEM apps.

We are looking for an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Full Stack Developers to join our team for an enterprise client engagement. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise in AEM development, Java‑based backend technologies, modern frontend frameworks, and enterprise content management solutions. The role involves building scalable digital experiences and collaborating with business stakeholders, designers, QA engineers, and cross‑functional delivery teams.

Job Description: Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and custom applications.
• Build backend solutions using Java, Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR, and related AEM frameworks.
• Develop frontend experiences using HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and React.
• Configure and customize AEM Core Components, Editable Templates, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
• Implement AEM workflows, permissions, user/group management, and content publishing processes.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and other enterprise systems with AEM.
• Work with headless CMS architectures, GraphQL, and Content Services where applicable.
• Support deployments, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
• Follow secure coding standards, conduct code reviews, and maintain reusable, high‑quality code.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
• Use Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines to manage code and deployments.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• 5–6 years of overall software development experience, with at least 3 years hands‑on AEM experience.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager 6.5 and/or AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Proficiency in Java, Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Oak.
• Strong knowledge of HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, servlets, services, and schedulers.
• Experience developing custom AEM components, templates, dialogs, and workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with AEM Core Components, Editable Templates, and content authoring.
• Strong frontend skills in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with Maven, Git, build/deployment processes, REST APIs, and JSON.
• Understanding of debugging, performance tuning, and resolving AEM application issues.

Good-to-Have Skills

• React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• AEM Headless, GraphQL, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
• AEM as a Cloud Service and Adobe Cloud Manager.
• Dispatcher configuration, caching, CDN, and web performance optimization.
• AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Automated testing, JUnit, Mockito, and CI/CD tooling.
• Adobe certifications, particularly AEM Sites Developer or AEM Sites Architect.
• Experience in enterprise consulting or client‑facing delivery environments.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
