Publicis Sapient is seeking an AEM Developer to join our team of bright thinkers and doers in India. You will build AEM components, templates, workflows and integrations supporting modern digital experiences across industries.

This role offers hands-on development, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and opportunities to advance in AEM as a Cloud Service environments.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of overall experience with 1–3 years in Adobe Experience Manager.
• Hands-on development with Java 8/11, Sling, JCR, OSGi, HTL.
• Experience building AEM content capabilities such as Content Fragments, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments and workflows.
• Knowledge of headless/AEM Content Services, REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, code quality, testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop AEM components, templates, workflows and integrations that support scalable content authoring and delivery.
• Collaborate with architects, frontend teams, QA and DevOps to implement AEM solutions aligned to project requirements.
• Build and maintain Content Fragment Models, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, editable templates and DAM structures.
• Support headless and API-first implementations using AEM Content Services, REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, troubleshooting and deployment activities across AEM environments.
• Improve application quality by applying good coding practices, accessibility, security and performance considerations.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to diagnose issues and deliver working software.

Publicis Sapient is looking for an AEM Developer to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. You will use your problem‑solving creativity to build AEM components, templates, workflows and integrations that support modern digital experiences across industries. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on development, learning new Adobe capabilities and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Your Impact:

• Develop AEM components, templates, workflows, content structures and integrations that support scalable content authoring and delivery.
• Work with architects, senior developers, frontend teams, QA and DevOps to implement AEM solutions aligned to project requirements and engineering standards.
• Build and maintain Content Fragment Models, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, editable templates, DAM structures, metadata, taxonomy and publishing workflows.
• Support headless and API‑first implementation using AEM Content Services, REST APIs, GraphQL, Universal Editor and Edge Delivery Services concepts.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, troubleshooting and deployment activities across AEM as a Cloud Service environments.
• Improve application quality by applying good coding practices, responsive design, accessibility, security, SEO, GEO and performance considerations.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to diagnose issues, deliver working software and continuously improve implementation quality.

Your Skills & Experience:

• 4-6 years of overall experience, including 1-3 years of hands‑on experience in Adobe Experience Manager, preferably AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Hands‑on development experience using Java 8/11, Sling, JCR, OSGi, HTL, AEM Core Components and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Experience building AEM content capabilities such as Content Fragment Models, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, editable templates, reusable components, workflows, DAM, tagging, taxonomy and localisation.
• Working understanding of AEM Content Services, Headless CMS, Universal Editor, Edge Delivery Services and modern API‑first delivery patterns.
• Exposure to Dispatcher, replication, caching, search, indexing, Oak/QueryBuilder, content publishing and performance optimisation.
• Working knowledge of React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript for headless and composable implementations.
• Full‑time Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.

Set Yourself Apart With:

• Experience integrating AEM with Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Assets, Analytics, Commerce, Salesforce, PIM, CRM, SSO, LDAP, Adobe I/O or other enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with Cloud Manager, Maven, Git, Jenkins/Bamboo, SonarQube, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
• Exposure to Generative AI and Adobe AI capabilities for code generation, documentation, testing, content acceleration and developer productivity.
• Understanding of Multi Site Manager, Blueprinting, personalisation, targeting, multilingual content management and omnichannel delivery.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate effectively in cross‑functional Agile teams.
