TransUnion is seeking an Advisor, Technical Product Management to drive scalable, reliable technology products for Marketing Solutions. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, business strategy, and customer experience, driving execution across complex systems and aligning technical investments with company goals.

You will define product strategy, partner with Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Business stakeholders to deliver robust, customer-centric solutions, mentor Junior TPMs,

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in Product Management with a strong technical focus.
• 3–5+ years of people management experience leading TPM or PM teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in AdTech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, platform-level or infrastructure products.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and product requirements.
• Mentor Junior TPMs and establish performance goals.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Business stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of modern technologies and engineering standards.

This is a solution TPM team in GTDA in support of Marketing Solutions

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

We are seeking an Advisor, Technical Product Management, to drive the build of scalable, reliable, and high-impact technology products for Marketing Solutions.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, business strategy, and customer experience, driving execution across complex systems and aligning technical investments with company goals.

This individual will support the Integration Team in supporting platform and activation deliveries of large number of business customers for marketing data.

You will define product strategy, and partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Business stakeholders to deliver robust, customer‑centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Execution


• Define and drive the technical product strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives


• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, Solution‑level, platform‑level or infrastructure products


• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and product requirements


• Prioritize initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment


• Technical Leadership Partner with Engineering and Architecture to design scalable, resilient systems


• Ensure best practices in API design, system integrations, data flows, and platform architecture


• Make informed trade‑offs between speed, scalability, and technical debt


• Drive adoption of modern technologies, frameworks, and engineering standards


• Team Leadership & Development Mentor Junior Technical Product Managers


• Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and career development plans


• Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement


• Cross‑Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Business teams


• Act as a bridge between technical and non‑technical stakeholders


• Drive alignment across multiple teams and resolve dependencies


• Delivery & Execution Excellence Oversee product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration


• Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and drive data‑informed decisions


• Ensure timely and high‑quality delivery in an agile environment

Required Knowledge And Experiences

8–12+ years of experience in Product Management, with a strong technical focus

3–5+ years of people management experience leading TPM or PM teams

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
