GA Digital Web Word Pvt. Ltd. has partnered with IIT Indore to deploy a Junior Lab Assistant (Physics) on a short-term contractual basis.

The role involves assisting in teaching labs for B.Tech Engineering Physics, checking equipment, and managing TA engagements. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Physics or Electronics or a B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, with at least two years of relevant lab experience.

Qualifications

• Essential: Master’s degree (Physics or Electronics) or B.Tech/B.E. (in Electronics and/or Electrical Engineering).
• Desirable: Good communication skills; Knowledge of Computer Applications; Certificate course in management.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the conduction of teaching labs in the B.Tech Engineering Physics course.
• Checking the operation of lab equipment and troubleshooting while the lab is in operation.
• Preparation and management of timetable for TA engagements in the lab.
• Assisting for conduction of end semester practical examination.
• Performing technical duties related to the laboratory activities, including outreach activities for school students and visitors.
• Ensuring that all equipment is kept maintained and serviceable.

Job description

The Indian Institute of Technology Indore, the principal employer appointed M/s GA Digital Web Word Pvt. Ltd. for the deployment of manpower on a short-term basis through work outsourcing.

In this connection, M/s GA Digital Web Word Pvt. Ltd., invites applications from interested candidates along with Bio-data for the following position:

No. of Posts: 01 (ONE)

Essential qualification: Master’s degree (Physics or Electronics) or B. Tech/B.E. (in Electronics and/or Electrical Engineering) from a recognised Institute.

Desirable qualification: Good communication skills. Knowledge of Computer Applications and a Certificate course in management.

Minimum Experience (Please mention Field/ specialization and number of Years): 2 years of relevant experience in physics or a related field in an Educational / Research Institute.

Desirable Experience, if any: 02 Years’ experience in laboratories of reputed Engineering/Technical Institute of National Importance like IITs/IISERs/IISc/NITs and similar Central Govt. Institutions, including Research and Development (R&D) Institutions/Organisations. Experienced candidates will be preferred.

Job Requirements / Description:

• Assisting in the conduction of teaching labs in the B.Tech Engineering Physics course.

Period of Engagement: Initially for 1 year, extendable based on performance

Age: Maximum 35 years from the last date of advertisement.

Pay / Gross salary: ₹27,806/- (consolidated) per month.

In addition, EPF and Medical Insurance facilities shall be available as per rules.

General Terms and Conditions:

1. This is the temporary post which will be further extendable subject to satisfactory performance.
2. The outsourced employees shall be on the payroll of M/s GA Digital Web Word Pvt. Ltd.
3. The post is purely contractual and temporary.
4. The Company / Employer reserves the right to relax age, education, or any other qualifying criterion as per its requirement.
5. The post holder will have no right whatsoever to permanent employment/ regularization/ contract/ absorption.
6. The assignment can be terminated by either side with one month’s notice time.
7. After the expiry of the term, employment shall stand terminated automatically unless the same is extended in writing.
8. The employee shall strictly observe the Code of Conduct and Rules & Policies prescribed by IIT Indore from time to time during the period of his/her deployment at the premises of our client IIT Indore.
