Job summary

HARMAN in Bengaluru, India is seeking a senior Qlik Sense Specialist to design, develop, and support enterprise analytics using Qlik Sense and Power BI in hybrid environments.

You will lead dashboards, data models, ETL, and governance, collaborating with business stakeholders and external consultants to deliver scalable insights and governance across Qlik Sense and Power BI platforms. Travel may be required; you will mentor a team and drive analytics modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience delivering enterprise data and analytics solutions across multi-source environments.
• Hands-on with Qlik Sense On-Premises as well as Qlik Cloud (SaaS).
• Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data models, including CDS views, ODP, and extractors.
• Hands-on experience with, or a strong understanding of, Power BI reporting in cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of data integration patterns, including batch processing, APIs, streaming, and Change Data Capture (CDC).
• Strong exposure to data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
• Experience implementing security and access controls in Qlik Sense and Power BI.
• Proven ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading vendor and systems integrator (SI) engagements and making architecture trade-off decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Qlik Sense applications and dashboards.
• Translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
• Develop complex data models using Qlik’s associative engine.
• Build reusable data load scripts and automated ETL processes.
• Optimize dashboard performance, reload schedules, and application scalability.
• Implement Qlik best practices for development, governance, and security.
• Support platform upgrades, migrations, and patch deployments.
• Manage licensing and support governance initiatives.
• Establish development standards and deployment procedures.
• Collaborate with Power BI consultants on Qlik report migration projects.
• Lead a team of external consultants on project basis to deliver high-visibility outcomes.
• Work with business stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements.
• Present solutions and insights to business and management teams.
• Collaborate on Power BI adoption and migration initiatives where applicable.
• Compare and align reporting solutions across Qlik Sense and Power BI platforms.
• Support business users in selecting appropriate BI tools and technologies.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Qlik Sense Specialist to lead the design, development, optimization, and support of enterprise analytics solutions using Qlik Sense. The ideal candidate will have over 6+years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, with deep expertise in Qlik Sense architecture, data modeling, dashboard development, governance, and platform administration.

In addition to strong Qlik expertise, the candidate should possess working knowledge of Power BI, enabling them to support hybrid analytics environments and participate in analytics modernization initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and leadership teams to deliver scalable, business-focused analytics solutions.

What You Will Do
