Job description

• Own and maintain the enterprise architecture blueprint, including current-state and target-state views across application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers


• Define and evangelize reusable reference architectures and patterns for agentic AI systems, including agent orchestration, tool-calling, memory/state management, and guardrails


• Design and govern multi-agent system architectures, including agent-to-agent communication protocols, orchestration frameworks, and tool/function-calling interfaces


• Define standards for grounding, memory, retrieval, and context management across LLM-driven workflows


• Establish human-in-the-loop checkpoints and escalation paths for autonomous agents operating on production data or systems


• Evaluate and select agent-orchestration frameworks and platforms, balancing build versus buy


• Chair or actively participate in the Architecture Review Chapter and define review cadence, entry/exit criteria, and exception-handling processes


• Own Architecture Decision Records and maintain a lightweight approval workflow


• Define guardrails for AI and agentic systems, including data access boundaries, PII handling, human-in-the-loop requirements, and audit logging


• Maintain enterprise modeling artifacts such as capability maps, data-flow diagrams, and integration catalogs as the single source of truth for reviews

Requirements

• 12–15 years of progressive experience in software engineering and solution architecture


• Hands‑on experience with LLM application architecture, including RAG pipelines, agent frameworks, prompt/context engineering, model evaluation, and guardrails


• Familiarity with multi‑agent orchestration patterns and tool‑use/function‑calling architectures


• Deep experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)


• Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure‑as‑code


• Experience designing for scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency at enterprise scale


• Strong background in distributed systems design, including event‑driven architecture, microservices, API gateways, and messaging systems


• Experience integrating legacy enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and core platforms with modern cloud‑native and AI‑driven components


• Experience designing enterprise data architectures, including data pipelines, data mesh/data fabric concepts, governance, and lineage


• Ability to model and maintain data‑flow views underpinning the enterprise digital twin


• Practical experience with architecture modeling notations/tools such as ArchiMate, C4 model, or TOGAF‑aligned frameworks


• Experience running formal enterprise architecture review processes


• Demonstrated ability to strategise and develop PoCs and create practices around them


• Portfolio of successful large‑scale modernization or AI‑transformation projects


• Ideally, experience participating in an EA governance process (ARB, ADRs) from scratch or maturing an existing one


• Prior experience building or working with an enterprise digital twin or equivalent simulation/dependency‑modeling capability is a strong plus
