Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong skills in REST API design (scalability, versioning, security) and SOAP / legacy integrations.
• Advanced proficiency in MSSQL, including performance tuning, transactions, and concurrency.
• Experience designing and evolving large monolithic systems.
• Expertise in performance optimization, concurrency, and fault tolerance.
• Solid understanding of security (TLS/SSL), secure communication, and certificate handling.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and threat modeling.
• Ability to identify/prevent vulnerabilities (injection, auth flaws, data leaks).
• Experience evaluating AI development tools and governing AI output.
• Proficient in English at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher.
