Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an Alarm Management Lead to design, lead and execute alarm management solutions across refining, petrochemical, mining, power and other process industries in India. You will drive technical delivery from design through closure, and create essential design documents and training materials.

Travel 50-60% and collaborate with customers to meet schedules and budgets while enforcing industry standards such as ISA 18.2 and IEC 62682.

Qualifications

• 10-14 years’ experience in alarm management for refining, petrochemical, mining, power, or chemicals.
• Strong knowledge of unit operations and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with DCS alarm configuration on Honeywell, Yokogawa, ABB, Schneider, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery from design to closure.
• Create design documents such as FDS, DDS, test procedures, and training manuals.
• Lead customer meetings including KOM, design workshops, trainings, and testing.
• Track progress and report to stakeholders; manage budget and timelines.

The Alarm Management Lead will be responsible for design, lead and execute Alarm Management solutions implementation for the Refining, Oil and Gas, Chemical, Power and Mining Industries

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of the project right from design to closure.
• Create Design documents- FDS, DDS, test procedures and training manuals.
• Lead customer meetings including KOM, design workshops, trainings, and testing.
• Track and manage progress as per schedule. Report progress to all stakeholders on regular basis.
• Manage customer expectation and ensure delivery within budget and timelines.
• Plan the engineering activities and ensure progress as per plan.
• Address customer issues on time by escalating to the right internal stakeholders
• Follow the Company defined standard practices and methods

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• 10-14 years’ experience in designing and implementing Alarm management solutions for refining, petrochemical, mining, power, or other chemical industries
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of the Unit operations and work processes in manufacturing industries.
• Good understanding of Alarm systems and alarm configuration on various DCS systems like Honeywell, Yokogawa, ABB, Schneider etc.,
• Good understanding of the Industry standards like ISA 18.2, and IEC 62682 standards
• Understanding of basic networking principles (e.g. IP addressing, Network components such as routers, switches etc.)
• Experience in writing SQL queries, creating SSRS & Basic Database management skills
• Knowledge of integration with other systems using OPC, OLEDB, ODBC and web services.
• Experience of working in Master Alarm Database (MAD), Alarm rationalization process & implementation.
• Implementation knowledge of Honeywell Dynamo Documentation & Enforcement (D&E), Metrics & Reporting (M&R) or Exaquantum -Alarm Reporting and Analytics, Alarm Master Database and Sequence of Events, Aveva ProcessVue SOE, Analyzer and Guardian, Matrikon Alarm management or PAS PlantState Suite, Emerson AgileOps, ABB Ability, Yokogawa AAA Suite etc.,
