Job summary

Honeywell Building Automation in India seeks a senior project engineer with 10+ years in fire & security or BMS to execute and oversee complex control system deployments.

You will design, engineer and commission fire alarms, access control, CCTV and intruder systems, mentor engineers, ensure scope clarity, and deliver quality, on-time results across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in fire & security, and/or building management systems (BMS) industries.
• Design, engineering & commissioning experience for fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom systems.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word.
• Experience with front-end integrated systems, SCADA and multiple system interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects independently across hardware, software, detail design, graphics and onsite commissioning.
• Design, engineering and commissioning for fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom systems.
• Review inputs to ensure scope clarity and map customer expectations to deliverables.
• Build rapport with the team to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure quality and specs compliance of deliverables.
• Ability to work on multiple product platforms and multitask.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive them into project execution.
• Contribute up to 1850 billable hours per annum to projects.
• Perform end-to-end project close-out and be the face of the company with customers/dealers.

Responsibilities

10+ years in one/more of the following industries: Fire & security, BMS.

• Execute projects independently - Control System Hardware/ Software /Detail Design/Graphics /Onsite Commissioning
• Design, engineering & commissioning experience for fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion system, intercom system
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, MS excel, MS word
• Experience working with front end integrated system, SCADA & multiple system interfaces
• Working experience in networking & ICT
• Review inputs ensure Scope clarity and map customer expectations in actual deliverables.
• Will groom other Engrs on specific tasks.
• Review inputs ensure Scope clarity and map customer expectations in actual deliverables Build rapport with team ensuring smooth execution of projects.
• Ensure quality & specs compliances of deliverables for projects.
• Ability to work on multiple product platforms and do multi-tasking.
• Identify possible improvement opportunities in processes and standards and drives them to be a part of the project execution
• Contributes/delivers up to 1850Hrs per annum of billable hours to projects
• Ensure end to end project close out.
• Is the face of GES while working with end customers/dealers, ensures customer satisfaction exceeds the expectations, encourages GES remote engg.
• Reporting Alignment with Engg Supervisor
