Job summary

Kimberly-Clark Corporation in Pune, India is seeking an Advanced Payroll Operations Consultant to help deliver accurate, compliant payroll services across global jurisdictions.   • Experience in corporate/shared services/GBS environments.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and time & attendance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with UKG Payroll or Kronos is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Execute accurate and timely payroll processing for assigned countries.
  • Perform payroll data entry, records management, and time & attendance administration.
  • Support payroll preparation, validation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Resolve employee payroll inquiries and system-related issues.
  • Manage payroll tickets, escalations, garnishment requests, and treasury-related activities.
  • Conduct payroll audits and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support compliance with policies, regulations, and internal controls.
  • Partner with payroll vendors and support audit documentation requests.
  • Identify process improvements and support implementation of enhancements.
  • Participate in payroll projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional service to employees and stakeholders.
  • Support training and knowledge sharing within payroll function.

About You

In one of our professional roles, you’ll focus on delivering accurate, compliant, and employee-centric payroll services across assigned countries. As part of the Global Payroll Operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring timely payroll processing, resolving payroll-related issues, maintaining data integrity, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, employees, payroll vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and compliance with applicable regulations. Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service are critical to success in this role.

Job responsibilities include:
  • Execute accurate and timely payroll processing activities for assigned countries.
  • Perform payroll transactions, data entry, records management, and time & attendance administration.
  • Support payroll preparation, validation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Resolve employee payroll inquiries and system-related payroll issues.
  • Manage payroll tickets, escalations, garnishment requests, and treasury-related activities.
  • Conduct payroll audits and ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity.
  • Support compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and internal controls.
  • Partner with payroll vendors and support audit documentation requests.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of operational enhancements.
  • Participate in payroll-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and stakeholders.
  • Support training and knowledge sharing as needed within the payroll function.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
  • Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in payroll operations or payroll administration.
  • Experience processing payroll in a corporate, shared services, GBS, or multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, time & attendance administration, and payroll controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with UKG Payroll, UKG Time & Attendance, Kronos, or related payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of SOX controls and payroll audit support processes.
  • Experience working with global payroll vendors and multicountry payroll environments.
  • Exposure to process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Experience working within a Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services environment.
