Job summary

HARMAN Automotive Bengaluru is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to develop production ready software for AUTOSAR platforms, analyze specs, design units and test plans, and collaborate with hardware and software teams to deliver robust in-vehicle solutions.

You will work with Vector Davinci tools to configure MCAL and CDD drivers, integrate CAN/Ethernet stacks, and contribute to debugging, unit tests, and SDLC adherence. Experience with RH850/S32K/ARM MCUs is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics or computer science.
• 8+ years in microcontroller embedded software development or testing.
• 6+ years of AUTOSAR experience (MCAL, CDDs, BSW configuration).
• Experience with debugging in real-time, embedded multicore environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop production ready software following a defined SDLC process.
• Analyze specifications and develop unit designs and unit test plans.
• Identify and develop CDDs with Davinci tools and other AUTOSAR stacks.
• Develop CDD drivers for AUTOSAR applications and integration testing.

About the Role

The engineer will be responsible for developing production ready software following a defined software development process. The engineer must be capable of analyzing specifications, developing unit designs, developing unit test plans, The engineer must be able to understand the requirements and be able to identify and develop CDDs with tooling from Vector (like Davinci Developer, Davinci Configurator) and other similar AUTOSAR stack. Develops CDD drivers for AUTOSAR application

What You Need

• Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical engineering , Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 8 + years of microcontroller embedded software development or testing.
• 8 + years of C or other structured language.
• 6 + years of AUTOSAR experience ( MCAL, developing CDDs, configuring BSW with Davinci configurator)
• Experience developing and debugging software in a real‑time, embedded, multiprocessor, multi‑interface environment.
• Good e xperience working with vehicle networking (CAN, Ethernet, MOST, etc ).
• Experience with RH 850 micro controllers, S32k micro controllers, ARM based development
