Job Description:
The Advance India Innovation Center (AIIC) Business Program Manager is a high-level executive role responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the AIIC, partnering with the Managing Director (MD) in developing the vision, mission, and strategy of the AIIC Organization and successfully delivering the goals while working closely with cross-functional leaders in India and the US. The role is responsible for measuring the business value of the AIIC by working with functional leaders and conducting monthly/quarterly business reviews with key stakeholders including local & global functional executives, EXCOMM, and horizontal global services business owners.

This role is a key coordinator for the various AIIC cross-functional responsibilities like budget, real estate facilities, policy & procedures, and compliance. This role also acts as Chief of Staff: a liaison between the MD and the executive team, as well as other stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards the organization’s goals. This is a potential rotational role where the right candidate gets the opportunities to do other functional roles in the organization as part of their career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the Center Head to develop and implement the organization’s strategic plan and vision.
  2. Manage the day-to-day operations of the organization, including overseeing budgets, real estate & facilities, return to office metrics, facilitate compliances, and other administrative functions. Advance the organization’s business and financial acumen.
  3. Set up and manage various key business meetings like AIIC monthly business review metrics, AAP AIIC JV Board Meetings, global functional executives, EXCOMM meetings, external ecosystem representations, and US leadership business meetings during AIIC visits.
  4. Develop, implement, and measure compliance of policies and procedures to ensure that the AIIC organization operates efficiently. Ensure local requirements are aligned with global policies owners’ example – T&E, Egencia, P-Card, Procurement, Real Estate & Facilities, Marketing/Branding etc.
  5. AIIC Dashboards – Analyze data and metrics for reporting and to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to the leadership teams.
  6. Represent the organization in meetings and other external events like NASSCOM, T-HUB, Academia etc. as needed and develop plans & actions to increase AIIC brand.
  7. Coordinate and project manage special projects and events for the AIIC.
  8. Act as a liaison between the MD and the executive team, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards the organization’s goals.
  9. Provide guidance and support to other departments and teams, ensuring that they have the resources and support they need to be successful.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  2. 10+ years of experience in executive-level roles, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
  3. The successful applicant must be able to provide leadership and operate effectively in a “Matrix Environment”.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  6. Proven track record of developing business strategy, developing long-term plans, managing, and leading teams, with a focus on achieving results and driving success. Doing such a role as a strategist in a Global Capabilities Center would be preferred.
  7. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  8. Experience working with and managing budgets, preferably in a global organization.
