Job summary

Invesco Ltd. invites an experienced Adv. Eng. I to join the Infra Run & Stability team in Hyderabad. You will develop on the ServiceNow platform, implement modules, and integrate with various systems to meet ITSM goals. Strong coding standards and collaboration with analysts and PMs are essential.

Role emphasizes architecture understanding, testing, documentation, and on-call support. Hybrid work model with office presence required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of proven systems development experience using structured methods.
• Design and develop Service Now modules / applications.
• Knowledge of AJAX, CSS, HTML, DHTML, XSL, and JavaScript.
• In-depth knowledge of the technical implementation of ServiceNow modules such as Change/Incident/Problem Management, Service Catalog, Configuration Management, Reporting, LDAP, SSO, MID Server, Discovery/Service Mapping, Service Portal.
• Service-Now customization including Client Scripts, UI policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, Business Rules, workflow administration, report setup, data imports.
• Experience on Integration technologies such as Web Services, LDAP, SOAP, HTTP, MID Server, Orchestration and third-party integrations.
• Software development methodologies and UML modeling.
• Understanding of relational database design and SDLC principles.
• Solid experience working in project teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks related to technical analysis, building and unit testing within the development life cycle.
• Adhere to documentation, coding and quality standards as defined.
• Review work, discuss timescales, and report variances to project managers.
• Understand client business and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot architectures and improve production processes.
• Perform business analysis to ensure user requirements are met.
• Prepare for and support user acceptance testing.
• Conduct QA on peers' work and ensure quality.
• Prepare documentation and processes for ongoing system support.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and coordinate estimates for development.
• Provide On-Call support within agreed coverage times.
• Handle updates and configuration changes/requests.
• Facilitate rollout of new applications and modules.
• Customize ServiceNow applications per process owners’ guidance.

Development activities are directly related but not limited to JavaScript development for the ServiceNow platform customization and should be completed within expected delivery dates while adhering to all Invesco development standards. Your Role:This role will work with the IT Service Management Process leadership and Business Analysts team to develop technical solutions that satisfy the business needs of the Technology organization and other departments seeking to use ServiceNow internally. You Will Be Responsible For:1.
