Job summary

CHIREC International School in Hyderabad is seeking an Admissions Officer to guide prospective students and their families through the application process while representing the school at recruitment events.

You will build relationships with families, educational consultants, and schools, guiding applicants through deadlines, program offerings, and requirements, and coordinating campus tours and orientation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, marketing, or related field.
• Experience in admissions or recruitment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Familiarity with admissions software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent the school at fairs, open houses, visits and other recruitment events.
• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents, and educational consultants.
• Conduct outreach via phone, email, and social media to engage with potential applicants.
• Guide applicants through the admissions process including deadlines and requirements.
• Review and evaluate student applications, transcripts, test scores, and letters of recommendation.
• Conduct interviews with prospective students and families to assess fit.
• Organize campus tours, information sessions, and other admissions events.
• Assist in orientation programs for new students.
• Maintain accurate records of applicant interactions and materials.
• Utilize admissions software to track statuses and generate reports.
• Analyse admissions data to inform recruitment strategies.
• Coordinate with faculty and marketing for promotions.
• Provide excellent customer service and timely responses.

About the role

To manage the student recruitment process, guide prospective students and their families through the application process, and represent the school in various outreach efforts.

What you will be doing

• Utilize admissions software to track application statuses and generate reports for the admissions team.
• Analyse trends in admissions data to inform recruitment strategies.
• Work closely with faculty, staff, and other departments to coordinate recruitment and retention efforts.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of admissions policies and strategies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
• Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students and their families, answering inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Address concerns and provide solutions to ensure a positive experience throughout the admissions process.
