Job Description

Melhor Group is looking for a disciplined, execution-led HR Manager who will run the HR function

independently, as an individual contributor. The weight of the role sits in recruitment, with equal ownership

of employee management, performance, discipline and reporting.

Hiring is handled personally. There is no recruitment team behind this role; the HR Manager sources,

screens and closes.

Recruitment & Hiring

• Own end-to-end recruitment across all departments, personally.
• Source through Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed and other Indian recruitment platforms. Hiring is domestic, India only.
• Conduct structured HR screening and virtual interviews first-hand.
• Maintain a strong, active pipeline for every open position.
• Hold to quality over quantity. Only thoroughly screened candidates are forwarded to the HOD or Management.
• Reduce rejection at the final Management round through sharper screening and evaluation.
• Coordinate interviews, salary discussions, offers and joining follow-ups through to closure.
• Use AI tools to prepare JDs, role-specific questionnaires, screening parameters and candidate evaluation frameworks.
• Maintain accurate recruitment data, candidate status and hiring MIS.

HR Management

• Manage employee performance, discipline and workplace accountability.
• Define and monitor KRAs, KPIs and performance expectations.
• Identify non-performance early and initiate corrective action or a PIP where required.
• Handle employee grievances professionally and neutrally.
• Draft warnings, show-cause notices, disciplinary communication and termination documentation.
• Manage HR communication for joining, confirmation, resignation and exit.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all employee and Management matters.
• Submit an accurate Daily Progress Report (DPR) and periodic MIS.
• Keep a clear, current status of every open position, interview, selection, offer and joining.
• Bring Management structured information, not unfiltered problems.
• Every escalation states four things: the problem, the reason, the proposed solution and the decision required.
• Follow up until every assigned matter reaches closure.

• Employee discipline and the rigour of performance management.
• Quality of DPR and MIS.
• The ability to handle HR matters independently, without continuous Management intervention.
