Job summary

Kinet Railway Solutions Limited is expanding its manufacturing for electric passenger trains in India. The role focuses on adhesive bonding and sealing of components, with strict adherence to EN 17460 procedures and process instructions.

You will handle surface preparation, adhesive application, batch verification, and data recording while maintaining safety and quality in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with EN 17460 bonding procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to apply adhesives and sealants for windows and structural joints.
• Capable of coordinating batch numbers, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
• Record production data and inspection details accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform adhesive bonding and sealing activities per approved EN 17460 procedures and work instructions.
• Carry out surface preparation including cleaning, abrasion, activator, and primer application.
• Apply adhesives and sealants for windows, interior assemblies, and structural joints.
• Ensure correct adhesive mixing ratio, bead application, curing conditions, and workmanship quality.
• Operate adhesive dispensing equipment and related bonding accessories safely.
• Verify batch numbers, expiry dates, and storage conditions before use.
• Conduct visual inspection of bonded joints for bubbles, gaps, cracks, contamination, and adhesive continuity.
• Maintain cleanliness and environmental conditions in bonding areas per process requirements.
• Record production data and inspection details in relevant documents.

Your profile

• Perform adhesive bonding and sealing activities as per approved EN 17460 bonding procedures and work instructions.
• Carry out surface preparation activities including cleaning, abrasion, activator, and primer application.
• Apply adhesives and sealants for windows, interior assemblies, structural joints, and sealing applications.
• Ensure correct adhesive mixing ratio, bead application, curing conditions, and workmanship quality.
• Operate adhesive dispensing equipment, pneumatic tools, and related bonding accessories safely.
• Verify adhesive, sealant, primer, and activator batch numbers, expiry dates, and storage conditions before use.
• Conduct visual inspection of bonded joints for bubbles, gaps, cracks, contamination, and adhesive continuity.
• Maintain cleanliness and environmental conditions in bonding areas as per process requirements.
• Support process validation trials, test sample preparation, and rework activities when required.
• Record production data, process parameters, and inspection details in relevant documents.
• Monitor and comply with specified temperature, humidity, and workplace conditions during bonding operations.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of bonding materials.
• Follow all safety procedures related to adhesive handling, PPE usage, and chemical management.
