Role & responsibilities
  • Source and close new business deals to generate ad revenue.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and ad agencies.
  • Understand client needs and propose tailored advertising solutions.
  • Plan, pitch and negotiate contracts / ad rates and close deals.
  • Collaborate with creative, campaign operations, and tech teams for smooth delivery of ad campaigns.
  • Monitor performance of ad campaigns; review metrics (CTR, impressions, conversions, ROAS etc.) and recommend optimizations.
  • Identify upsell / cross-sell opportunities and new client segments / markets.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly / quarterly / annual sales targets & quotas.
  • Keep updated with market trends, competitor activity, and new ad tech/ formats.
Preferred candidate profile
  • Bachelor/Masters degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising or related field.
  • Strong experience (2-4 years for Executive / more for senior role) in ad sales / media sales / digital advertising.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Analytical ability – comfortable working with metrics/data to drive decisions.
  • Self-motivated, target driven and able to work independently as well as in teams.
  • Good understanding of the advertising landscape (digital, social, display, programmatic etc.).
  • Existing network with ad agencies / brands will be a plus.
