We are seeking an actuarial professional to join a well-established general insurance organization with a strong actuarial culture and a growing focus on advanced risk and capital analytics. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to critical decision-making that supports the company’s financial strength and long-term strategy.

Our client is a well-established insurer with a strong presence across India and global markets, known for its focus on technical excellence and career development.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance General Insurance capital models (e.g. internal models / economic capital frameworks).
• Support solvency, capital adequacy, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Perform stress and scenario testing to assess the impact of adverse events on capital positions.
• Analyse model outputs and communicate insights to senior management and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with reserving, pricing, risk, and finance teams to ensure consistency across actuarial frameworks.
• Assist with model validation, documentation, and governance processes.

🎓 Desired Profile

• Qualified or part-qualified actuary with experience in GI capital modelling or risk.
• Strong understanding of solvency frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in actuarial modelling tools and programming languages (e.g. Excel, VBA, R, Python, or similar).
• Ability to translate complex quantitative results into clear business insights.
