Job summary

Noida, Uttar Pradesh-based MetLife is seeking an actuarial analyst to support valuation and financial reporting for Asia life insurance businesses across multiple accounting frameworks. You will work with local offices, finance, and global stakeholders to deliver accurate reserve calculations, IFR reporting, and related actuarial analyses.

Responsibilities include US GAAP/STAT/local valuations, IF reporting, regulatory reporting, experience studies, and maintaining actuarial documentation.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of actuarial work experience
• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Progress toward actuarial qualification preferred
• Prior experience in life insurance valuation or reporting, knowledge of participating business is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Perform US GAAP, US STAT, and Local Statutory valuations for life insurance products
• Support IFreporting, including ongoing reporting and implementation/enhancement activities
• Assist with risk-based capital, solvency regime, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Conduct experience studies (mortality, lapse, expenses, etc.) and support assumption setting
• Analyze and explain movements in reserves and financial results
• Prepare and maintain actuarial documentation, methodologies, and audit support materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and external consultants
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of actuarial outputs

Key Responsibilities

• Perform US GAAP (US GAAP), US STAT, and Local Statutory valuations for life insurance products
• Support IFreporting, including ongoing reporting and implementation / enhancement activities
