EY in India seeks a Senior Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365 workloads to guide assessments, migrations and transformations across hybrid and cloud identity environments. Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in AD DS design, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Entra ID / Azure AD (Connect/Entra Connect, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, RBAC) experience.
• M365 workloads: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams.
• Strong experience in assessment methodologies for identity and M365 environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute assessments of existing Active Directory, Entra ID, and M365 environments to identify gaps, risks, and modernization opportunities.
• Design and drive transition and transformation roadmaps for identity infrastructure (on-prem AD to Entra ID, hybrid identity models).
• Plan and execute migrations of AD, Entra ID, and M365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams) — including tenant‑to‑tenant migrations, domain consolidations, and hybrid setups.
• Provide hands‑on configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of AD DS, Azure AD Connect/Entra Connect, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and hybrid identity synchronization.
• Work closely with client stakeholders to gather requirements, define migration strategy, and manage risk/rollback plans.
• Prepare technical documentation: assessment reports, architecture diagrams, migration runbooks, and transformation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (security, infrastructure, cloud) to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
• Stay current with Microsoft’s evolving identity and M365 ecosystem, and recommend best practices.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Consultant with strong expertise in Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), OR Microsoft 365 workloads. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in assessments, transitions, transformations, and migrations across hybrid and cloud identity environments, and will play a key role in advising clients while also executing technical delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–7 years of overall IT experience, with strong focus on Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), OR M365 workloads.
• Proven, in‑depth hands‑on experience (not just theoretical) in:
• AD DS design, administration, and troubleshooting
• Entra ID / Azure AD (Connect/Entra Connect, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, RBAC)
• M365 workloads: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams
• Strong experience in assessment methodologies for identity and M365 environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading transition & transformation projects (on-prem to cloud, hybrid identity).
• Solid experience in migration projects — tenant‑to‑tenant, cross‑forest, domain consolidation, mailbox/data migrations.
• Good understanding of security and compliance considerations in identity/M365 environments.
• Strong client‑facing consulting skills — able to present findings, roadmaps, and recommendations confidently.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have

• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-100/101, SC-300, AZ-800/801).
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation of AD/Entra ID/M365 tasks.
• Exposure to third‑party migration tools (Quest, BitTitan, ShareGate, etc.).
