Job summary

Tekskills is seeking an experienced Active Directory Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise AD environments. You will lead migration projects, plan forest and DNS design, and ensure secure identity management across on-prem and cloud services.

The role requires 10+ years in AD architecture, migration, and assessment, with strong RBAC, SSO integration, and documentation skills. You will collaborate with multiple teams and drive best practices in security and governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Active Directory architecture, migration and assessment experience.
• Design, plan, and implement enterprise Active Directory environments with forest/domain design, GPOs, OU structure, and DNS.
• Experience with Enterprise App Integrations on AAD SSO and AD migration strategies.
• Lead migration projects from legacy directory services to Active Directory with minimal disruption.
• Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and procedures related to AD architecture and operations.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement security best practices within Active Directory, including RBAC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AD with identity management systems, cloud services, and third-party apps.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of AD infrastructure components.

• Design, plan, and implement enterprise-level Active Directory environments, including forest and domain design, group policy objects (GPOs), OU structure, and DNS architecture.
• Enterprise App Integrations on AAD SSO
• Assess AD migration strategy and identify the target state with AD, Microsoft Entra ID or Hybrid
• Lead migration projects from legacy directory services to Active Directory, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Architect and implement security best practices within Active Directory, including role-based access control (RBAC), authentication mechanisms, and group memberships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Active Directory with identity management systems, cloud services, and third-party applications.
• Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and procedures related to Active Directory architecture, configuration, and operations.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for Active Directory infrastructure components.
• Experience with AD Backup/Recovery solutions and security posture enhancement.
