Roles & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues and requests
- Respond to user tickets in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor network activity and performance, using tools such as SolarWinds
- Train new users on company IT policies and procedures
- Run regular checks on network and data security
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
- Implement network services including data backups/restores, security, wireless connectivity, VPN, and terminal servers
- Maintain ERP system (Microsoft NAV-2019 / Microsoft Business Central) including troubleshooting, relationship management, contract negotiation, and new system proposal and comparison
- Troubleshoot problems with hardware or software that is used in conjunction with Office 365, such as printers or mobile phones that use Exchange ActiveSync
- Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware solving all user-related problems through IT engineers. Act as the point of contact/escalation for L2 technical issues/break-fix
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications required:
- 5+ years professional experience in IT support or management role
- ITIL certification or equivalent
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge in Microsoft NAV-2019 or Microsoft BC is preferred
- O365 Administrator Knowledge
- Related Cisco /Palo Alto / ITIL certificate is preferred
