Job Purpose:
To oversee statutory compliance activities for the smooth operation of local Indian entities and report to the Head of Finance in Noida. Collaborate with the GTS Taxation and Finance Department.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain updated books of account for project-wise and company-wise accounts in accordance with Indian accounting standards.
- Prepare periodic balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage vendor KYC, create entries in accounting software, and validate initial documents.
- Prepare voucher files for all RCS projects and RAF, and send scanned copies of vouchers and supporting bills to auditors, head office, or stakeholders.
- Handle bank payments, both domestic and foreign.
- Regularize administration advances monthly.
- Verify employee reimbursement claims and process payments.
- Arrange travel for business purposes with approved vendors.
- Maintain expense schedules for the Finance Team regularly.
- Coordinate with the Finance Team for audit purposes.
Experience:
2-3 years
Skills:
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
