Job summary

DMart is seeking an Accounts Officer for its Surat operations. You will manage timely vendor payments, daily cash deposits, and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy in ledgers and petty cash handling.

The role requires 1-5 years of experience (freshers may apply) with a B.Com/M.Com/MBA (Finance) qualification. Strong numerical and analytical abilities are essential for managing statutory dues and banking interactions.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) is preferred.
• Strong numerical ability and analytical skills required.
• Experience in accounts payable/receivable and financial reporting is desirable.

Role & responsibilities

Accounts officer

To ensure that all payments to the vendors are made on time as per the set process

To ensure that the sales cash is deposited safely in the Bank Account on daily basis and to reconcile the same

• To ensure timely payment of all statutory dues (ESIC/MLWF / Electricity / Property Tax etc.)
• To ensure that Credit Card amount gets credited in the Bank Account the next day and to liaison with the Bank in case of difference in amount
• Petty Cash Management, Ledgers
