Job summary

Institute of Management Accountants, Inc. in Mumbai is seeking an Accounts Manager to oversee financial records, MIS, and reporting.

You will handle accounting entries, bank reconciliations, and ensure statutory compliance with GST and TDS while driving process improvements. The ideal candidate combines hands-on accounting with data analysis, can translate numbers into actionable insights for management, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet reporting deadlines and optimize MIS

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
• Additional certification in Excel, Finance, MIS, Power BI or taxation will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Accounting Accuracy: Accurate and timely accounting entries and financial records
• Reconciliation: Timely bank, customer and vendor reconciliation
• Receivables & Payables: Effective tracking and reporting of outstanding amounts
• Statutory Compliance: Timely coordination for GST, TDS and other compliance requirements
• MIS Accuracy: Accurate daily, weekly and monthly management reports
• Management Reporting: Timely dashboards and reports for management reviews
• Data Analysis: Identification of trends, gaps, variances and business concerns
• Data Integrity: Ensuring accuracy and validation of information received from departments
• Process Improvement: Improving accounting and MIS processes and reducing manual errors
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Effective follow-up with departments for timely information
• Timeliness: Meeting all reporting, accounting and compliance deadlines
• Ownership: Proactively identifying issues and taking responsibility for resolution
