Willis Towers Watson in Mumbai is seeking an Associate to perform core accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and finalisations. You will prepare Trading Accounts, P&L, and Balance Sheets, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and UK pension guidelines (preferred).

About the Team:
The team in Mumbai support onshore teams across the Great Britain and Ireland geographies. Their responsibilities include preparing annual and management accounts, cash flows, and bank reconciliations, as well as handling accounts payable, fund flow forecasting, cash reconciliation, billing, pension payroll processing, statutory reporting, and audit support.
About the Role:
The Associate is responsible for performing core accounting activities, including journal entry processing, bank reconciliations, ledger posting and scrutiny, account finalisation, and booking period-end closing entries such as accruals and prepayments. The role involves preparing Trading Accounts, Profit & Loss Accounts, and Balance Sheets, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. The Associate is also expected to demonstrate an understanding of investment analysis and/or mutual fund concepts, support financial reporting activities, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders. Knowledge of UK Pension regulations would be an added advantage. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, is essential for successful performance in this role.
