Job summary

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage statutory audits from planning to finalization, ensuring timely completion within budget.
  
• Lead teams of accountants and article trainees during busy seasons.
  
• Develop strong relationships with clients through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, regulations, and company policies.
  
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, work performed, and billing.
• Coordinate with auditors, finance teams, and business stakeholders to resolve audit queries efficiently.
• Ensure timely completion of statutory audits, tax audits, and other compliance-related audits.
• Manage accounting and financial reporting for multiple business entities.
• Review monthly and quarterly Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare Balance Sheet schedules and supporting documentation.
• Prepare timely MIS reports and provide detailed financial variance analysis.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 4-5 years of post-qualification experience in statutory audit or related field (CA/ICWA).
  
• Strong knowledge of SAP ERP system for financial reporting purposes.
  
• Excellent advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  
• Proficiency in taxation laws and regulations applicable to India.
