About The Company

We are hiring for one of our esteemed clients, offering an exciting opportunity to join their dynamic team. They have a presence in India since 1996 and with a team of about 30 people across offices in New Delhi and Bangalore. They have a unique mandate to help companies in Sweden to grow global sales and international companies invest and expand there. They do this through trade promotion and business advisory services.

About The Role

We are looking for a hands-on accountant with 5+ years of experience in accounting and taxation, including TDS, GST, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance. The role involves working on both Indian and Swedish accounting systems, supporting audits, MIS reporting, invoicing, admin tasks, and interacting with Swedish clients. Strong communication, team spirit, and a results-oriented approach are essential. Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and financial documentation is expected.

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end accounting and taxation processes, including TDS, GST, filing of returns, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
Assist in monthly account reconciliations
Assist in cash flows/ forecasting
Prepare and record all journals, payment etc.
Physical file management and e-paperwork filing & management
Facilitate the team during internal/project audit
E-Banking and upload of payments
Prepares and checking payments by verifying documentation, expenses
MIS reports, analyze, interpret accounting records, financials
Assist with financials preparation in coordination with external stakeholders
Record keeping in tally
Support with Tax deduction at source filings as per Indian taxation standards
Assist with invoicing and other documentation as required
Assist with general admin activities at the office
Assist with day-to-day administration at the office
Support with reconciliation of invoices from travel bookings and other vendors

Skills & Qualifications

Strong working knowledge in accounting and taxation (TDS, GST etc.), filing of returns and regulatory compliances
Chartered Accountant (Inter) /Masters in finance
Min 5 years of accounting and taxation experience in the industry
A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English is a requirement
Proficiency in working knowledge of Tally, or similar software like Zoho, Microsoft word and excel
Good computer skills, conversant with ppt
