Job description

We are seeking a skilled Accounting & Finance Techno-Functional Consultant with expertise in ERPNext to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between finance business processes and technical implementation, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of ERPNext solutions to meet organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand business processes, identify pain points, and gather requirements for ERPNext implementation or enhancements.
  • Solution Design: Design and configure ERPNext modules (e.g., Accounting, Inventory, Procurement) to align with finance and operational requirements.
  • Implementation & Customization: Lead end-to-end ERPNext implementation, including system configuration, workflow customization, and custom script development.
  • Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration from legacy systems to ERPNext, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Training & Support: Conduct user training sessions for finance teams and provide ongoing support to resolve functional and technical issues.
  • Testing & Validation: Perform system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, IT teams, and business units to ensure smooth integration of ERPNext with other systems and third-party applications.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of ERPNext finance modules (Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Procure to Pay, Budgeting, Inventory, etc.).
    • Proficiency in ERPNext configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Functional Skills:
    • Deep understanding of finance and accounting principles (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
    • Experience in financial process mapping, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex finance challenges.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
    • Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering projects on time and within scope.
  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of experience as a techno-functional consultant, with at least 2 years working on ERPNext implementations.
    • Proven track record of delivering ERPNext projects in finance or related domains.
    • Experience with other ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, Oracle NetSuite) is a plus.
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Certifications in ERPNext, accounting e.g., ICWA, ACCA are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-currency and multi-entity financial setups in ERPNext.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., GST, VAT, Corporate Tax) and their implementation in ERPNext.
