Make Your Own Perfume (MYOP) LLP in Calicut seeks an experienced Accountant to manage end-to-end financials for Mauritius operations and upcoming overseas project.

The role requires handling statutory compliance, reporting, and multi-currency accounting while coordinating with the local team and international consultants. Willingness to relocate to Mauritius and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily financial records using Zoho Books.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow for Mauritius operations.
• Coordinate with Mauritius staff and auditors for filings.
• Manage supplier invoices and vendor payments; ensure timely settlements.
• Ensure VAT returns and annual filings are submitted timely for Mauritius.
• Present financial insights and variance analysis to senior management.

Make Your Own Perfume (MYOP) LLP | Full time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to handle the end-to-end financial management of our Mauritius retail operations and upcoming Overseas Project.While the role will be based out of our Calicut office, the accountant will be exclusively responsible for maintaining accurate books, statutory compliance, and reporting for the Mauritius entity, coordinating closely with the local team and international consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily financial records using accounting software ( Zoho Books).

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

• Manage supplier invoices, vendor payments, and ensure timely settlements.
• Match the payments with Sales Invoices

Statutory Compliance & Audit Support:

• Liaise with Mauritius-based auditors and consultants for tax filings, compliance, and financial audits.
• Ensure timely submission of VAT returns, annual filings, and other statutory documents in Mauritius.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports for Mauritius operations.
• Track Stock Movement, Inventory level and sales trends of the store .
• Present financial insights and variance analysis to senior management.

Coordination:

• Coordinate with Mauritius store staff, local vendors, Tax consultants and HO team

Desired Profile:

• CA Inter / CMA Inter / ACCA

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years in accounting roles, preferably with exposure to international or multi-currency accounting.
• Experience in handling compliance and reporting for foreign entities is a plus.
• Proficient in accounting software (zoho books ) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of international accounting principles and regulatory frameworks.
• Good communication skills in English (Mandatory).
• Ability to work independently with remote coordination.
• Willingness to relocate to Mauritius is required.
