Job summary

An Accountant for Vinayak Outsourcing Works in Raipur will manage day-to-day financial operations, inventory accounting for coal and rejects, and ensure GST/TDS compliance at the site.

Responsibilities include maintaining site accounts, preparing MIS, handling inventory valuation, and reconciling coal processing activities.

Required: B.Com/M.Com or semi-qualified CA/ICWA; experience in manufacturing/mining or coal washery; proficiency in SAP HANA, SAP ECC, Tally ERP and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include B.Com or M.Com, or semi-qualified CA/ICWA.
• Experience in manufacturing, mining, or coal washery units is required.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Inventory & costing: manage accounts for raw coal, processed coal, rejects, and consumables.
• Maintain daily accounting records and manage payables/receivables.
• Ensure GST, TDS compliance, file returns, and coordinate audits.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and DPRs, plus bank stock statements.
• Generate e-way bills and verify freight invoices; reconcile transporter accounts.

Job Description

An Accountant for a coal washery manages day-to-day financial operations, inventory accounting for raw/processed coal and rejects, and statutory compliance (GST/TDS). Key roles include maintaining site accounts, preparing MIS reports, handling inventory valuation, and managing reconciliations for coal processing activities.

Core Responsibilities

• Inventory & Costing: Manage accounting for raw coal, processed coal (washed coal), rejects, and consumables. Perform cost analysis per ton.
• Financial Operations: Maintain daily accounting records, handle accounts payable/receivable, and manage site bank transactions.
• Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other tax regulations; file returns and coordinate audits.
• Reporting & MIS: Prepare monthly MIS reports, daily production reports (DPR), and bank stock statements for management.
• Logistics Support: Generate e-way bills, verify freight invoices, and reconcile transporter accounts. Required Qualifications & Skills
