Job summary

Lumera Homes welcomes an Accountant / Accounts Executive to manage end-to-end financial operations for interior & civil projects at its Vijayawada Experience Center. The role covers client invoicing, vendor reconciliations, GST/TDS compliance, and project-level costing, working closely with MD, BDM, and PMs to ensure accurate cash flow and transparent reporting.

Ideal candidates have 2–6 years in commercial accounting, strong Excel skills, and hands-on experience with Tally Prime or Zoho Books.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of core accounting experience in interior design firms, construction, real estate or related sectors.
• Experience with GST, TDS, and vendor/project reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime/Zoho Books/QuickBooks and MS Excel required.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking an accurate, detail-oriented Accountant to manage complete financial operations, client billing cycles, vendor ledger reconciliations, taxation compliance, and project-level costing for Lumera Homes.

In this role, you will work closely with our Managing Director, Business Development Manager (BDM), and Project Managers to ensure seamless cash flow management, accurate GST/TDS returns, timely contractor payouts, and transparent financial reporting across all active residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Invoicing & Payment Tracking

• Milestone Billing: Generate accurate client tax invoices and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) aligned with agreed contract payment stages (advance, 2D freeze, factory production, site delivery, final handover).
  

• Payment Follow-ups: Track incoming client payments, reconcile advance receipts, and issue formal receipts through our accounting and CRM software.
  

2. Vendor, Factory & Contractor Accounting

• Vendor Ledger Reconciliation: Process, verify, and reconcile invoices from raw material suppliers (plywood, laminates, hardware like Hettich/Blum, quartz/granite) and external factory fabrication units.
  

• Contractor Payouts: Verify measurement sheets submitted by Site/Civil Project Managers and process weekly/bi-weekly payouts for trade contractors (carpenters, electricians, painters, plumbers, false ceiling teams).
  

3. Statutory Taxation & Compliance

• GST Filing: Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile input tax credit (GSTR-2B) for material purchases.
  

• TDS & Statutory Dues: Calculate and deposit monthly TDS deductions on contractor payments and professional fees, and file quarterly TDS returns.
  

• Audit Preparation: Maintain complete voucher records, digital invoices, and ledger accounts for quarterly internal reviews and annual statutory audits.
  

4. Financial Reporting & CRM Integration

• Project Cost Tracking: Maintain project-wise Profit & Loss (P&L) statements to track actual execution costs against estimated BOQs.
  

• Day-to-Day Accounting: Record daily petty cash expenses, site travel reimbursements, utility bill payments, and experience center maintenance overheads in Tally Prime or Zoho Books.
  

• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank account reconciliations and assist leadership with monthly cash flow forecasting.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / BBA in Finance or Accounting (Inter-CA / IPCC candidates welcome).
  

• Experience: 2 to 6 years of core accounting experience in interior design firms, construction, real estate, manufacturing, or retail project execution.
  

• Technical Skills:
  

  • Advanced working knowledge of Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks.
    

  • Expert proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial formulas).
    

  • Direct experience handling GST portals, e-way bills, and online TDS returns.
    

• Languages: High fluency in Telugu (for site contractor and local vendor discussions) and English (for corporate reporting and client invoicing).
  

• Soft Skills: High numerical accuracy, integrity, strong organizational skills, and strict adherence to payment deadlines.
