Shreekara World Foundation (SWF) invites applications for an accounting role based in Assam. The candidate will manage core accounting tasks, reconcile ledgers, and ensure GST and TDS compliance while supporting month-end reporting.

Mandatory Zoho Books proficiency with MS Excel; knowledge of Tally Prime is an advantage. Open to 1–3+ years of relevant experience, with fresh postgraduates encouraged to apply. This is an on-site opportunity in India.

Qualifications

• Education: M.Com or B.Com from a recognized institution.
• Practical knowledge of Zoho Books is required.
• MS Excel and Indian accounting tools like Tally Prime are advantageous.
• 1–3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience; fresh postgraduates with Zoho Books skills also welcome.

Responsabilités

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain cash/bank books.
• Verify invoices and vendor bills; manage vouchers.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and vendor/customer ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare GST data and basic TDS deductions; support compliance filings.
• Assist with month-end trial balances and ledger closures.
• Monitor receivables and payables; issue client invoices and vendor payments.

Description du poste

• Core Accounting & Ledger Management: Record daily financial transactions, manage vouchers, maintain cash/bank books, and verify invoices and vendor bills.
• Accounting Software Administration: Maintain clean, up-to-date company books primarily in Zoho Books, ensuring proper tagging of expenses, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliations, vendor ledger reconciliations, and customer balance confirmations.
• Statutory Compliance & Filings: Coordinate routine compliance workflows, including GST data preparation/reconciliation, basic TDS deductions, and related documentation.
• Receivables & Payables Management: Monitor outstanding debtor balances, issue client invoices, process authorized vendor payments, and handle petty cash tracking.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with month-end trial balances, ledger closures, and periodic operational expense summaries.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Master of Commerce (M.Com) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized institution.
• Software Proficiency: Practical, hands‑on working knowledge of Zoho Books is required. Working knowledge of MS Excel and standard Indian accounting tools (such as Tally Prime) is an advantage.
• Experience: 1 to 3+ years of relevant bookkeeping/accounting experience. (Motivated fresh postgraduates with strong academic grounding and demonstrable practical skills in Zoho Books are also welcome to apply).
• Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of basic accounting principles, GST framework, TDS deductions, and commercial documentation.
