Job summary

Medline India seeks a qualified accounting professional to handle accounting and reporting for the US entity related to inventory. You will oversee end-to-end book closure, GAAP accruals, and monthly reconciliations, interfacing with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely reporting.

The role requires CA/CPA with 1–2 years of experience, hands-on SAP Inventory experience, and strong Excel skills. Knowledge of Blackline/Tableau/AI is a plus, with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• CA / CPA with 1–2 years of experience.
• Hands on experience with SAP Inventory tables/T-codes.
• Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation experience.
• Month end close process experience.
• SAP or any ERP experience; Excellent Excel skills.
• Nice to have: Blackline, Tableau, or AI-related knowledge.
• Soft skills: strong communication, analytical ability, continuous improvement mindset, teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Working knowledge in Inventory and product costing as per US GAAP
• Manage end to end closure of books for US Entity and support in getting the PCAOB audit done for the entity.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation on a monthly basis and timely closure of the reconciling items.
• Journal Entry Assessment/Automation/Migration and US GAAP Accruals.
• Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure receipt of input and reports on time.
• Deliver routine tasks as per agreed timelines; while focusing on standardization and streamlining the process.
• Detecting accounting anomalies while conducting financial analysis through reconciliation to ensure that reported numbers are free from errors at month, quarter and year-end.
