Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Shivajinagar area of Pune City in the state of Maharashtra. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities for the clients based in USA including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers and preparing journal entries. The role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, reconciling accounts, monitoring budgets and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, assist with payroll entries, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The position also involves collaborating with internal teams and clients, responding to financial inquiries, supporting audits and recommending process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• B.Com, M.Com, CA Intermediate, CA Final, Fresher CA, Experienced CA
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting and account reconciliation
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Quickbooks, Zoho, Xero and spreadsheets and comfort working with financial data and accounting systems.
• Ability to analyze financial information, interpret variances and prepare clear, accurate documentation.
• Detail-oriented approach, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a client focused and collaborative mindset.
• Experience in public accounting, consulting or corporate accounting environment is beneficial.
