Everbond Paints is seeking an Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations. You will handle invoices, payments, and AP/AR while assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis.
  • Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and invoice processing.
  • Understanding of local tax laws, compliance requirements, and statutory filings relevant to New Delhi/India.
  • Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.

Role Description

The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including recording journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and account statements. The role involves preparing invoices, processing payments, handling accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The Accountant will support the preparation of financial reports, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and help ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The role includes coordinating with internal teams, responding to finance-related queries, and maintaining accurate documentation for audits and internal reviews. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi.
