Job summary

Bridgexcel is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial documentation in Kolkata. The role requires strong knowledge of MS Excel, accounting software, GST, and TDS.

You will handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and ledger management, file GST returns, and perform TDS calculations and filings. The position demands accuracy, deadline-oriented work, and clear documentation for audits.

Qualifications

• B.Com/M.Com or equivalent qualification.
• Basic to good knowledge of accounting and taxation.
• Hands-on knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Knowledge of GST returns and TDS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records, vouchers, invoices, and financial transactions.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and ledger management.
• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure timely GST compliance.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and TDS return filing.
• Assist with GST and TDS reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
