Job summary

Glan Management Consultancy in Delhi seeks an experienced Accountant with 5+ years in the Garment Export industry to manage day‑to‑day accounting and statutory compliance. You will handle export accounting, invoicing, GST, TDS, and finalization with the CA, while coordinating with banks and auditors.

The role requires expertise in Tally Prime, strong Excel skills, and a solid grasp of ledgers, reconciliations, and payroll accounting, if applicable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience in a Garment Export House.
• Strong hands‑on experience in Tally Prime.
• Excellent knowledge of Export Accounting and export transactions.
• Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in Balance Sheet Finalization with Chartered Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle complete accounting activities using Tally Prime.
• Manage day-to-day accounting entries, journal vouchers, payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, and bank transactions.
• Maintain General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Handle export accounting, including export invoices, packing credit, foreign remittances, shipping bills, export incentives, and realization of export proceeds.
• Prepare and file GST returns, reconcile GST records, and ensure statutory compliance.
• Deduct and deposit TDS, prepare TDS returns, and maintain compliance records.
• Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for balance sheet finalization, statutory audit, tax audit, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile customer and vendor accounts.
• Monitor cash flow, outstanding receivables, and payable schedules.
• Handle payroll accounting and statutory deductions, if applicable.
• Prepare MIS reports for management.
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, government departments, and internal stakeholders whenever required.
