Job summary

CLUIX is seeking a meticulous Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, bookkeeping, taxation, and statutory compliances in our Delhi office.

You will ensure accurate records, handle AP/AR, vendor invoices, payroll inputs, and support quarterly audits, monthly closings, and MIS reporting for our growing hardware and clean-tech operations.

Strong knowledge of GST and TDS, plus proficiency in Zoho Books or Tally Prime, is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in core accounting, taxation, and financial compliance (startup or manufacturing sector experience is a plus).
• Experience with GST, TDS, and ledger reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Indian accounting standards and statutory filings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records, general ledger, and journal entries in Zoho Books or Tally Prime.
• Manage AP/AR, vendor invoices, POs, customer billing, and payment reconciliations.
• Handle GST, TDS, PF/ESI compliances and returns.
• Perform bank reconciliations, vendor ledgers, petty cash, and expense audits.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for audits and ROC compliance.
• Assist in payroll processing and salary disbursements.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet schedules, cash flow summaries, and MIS.
• Maintain organized records and documentation in compliance with standards.

Description: CLUIX is seeking a meticulous, diligent, and dependable Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, bookkeeping, taxation, and statutory compliances. In this role, you will ensure accurate financial records, handle accounts payable and receivable, process vendor invoices, manage payroll inputs, and support periodic audits for our growing hardware and clean-tech operations.

About the Role

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date day-to-day accounting records, general ledger, and journal entries in accounting software (Zoho Books / Tally Prime).
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including vendor invoice verification, purchase orders, customer billing, and payment reconciliations.
• Handle statutory tax compliances, including calculation, timely filing, and returns for GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS, and PF/ESI.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, vendor ledger reconciliations, petty cash management, and expense reimbursement audits.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for quarterly and annual statutory audits, tax filings, and ROC compliance.
• Assist in monthly payroll processing, employee salary disbursements, and related statutory deductions.
• Prepare monthly profit & loss statements, balance sheet schedules, cash flow summaries, and MIS reports for management review.
• Maintain organized financial records, vouchers, bills, contracts, and digital documentation in compliance with accounting standards.

Skill(s) required

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks.
• Strong practical knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST laws, TDS deductions, and e-invoicing/e-way bills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, financial formulas) and Google Sheets.
• High degree of accuracy, numerical aptitude, and sharp attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills for coordination with vendors, banks, and internal teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com) / Inter CA / CMA.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in core accounting, taxation, and financial compliance (startup or manufacturing sector experience is a plus).
• Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, and ledger reconciliation.
