Job summary

Achariya Siksha Mandir is seeking a competent accounting professional to manage day-to-day financial operations. The role focuses on maintaining accounts in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, preparing financial statements, and ensuring statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, PF, and ESI.

The incumbent will oversee payroll processing, budgeting, and coordination with auditors and authorities, while supervising junior staff and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime and accounting principles.
• Experience with GST, TDS, PF, ESI compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial records.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports for management review.

Tally & MIS Reporting

• Maintain and update accounts in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Generate MIS reports, financial summaries, and analytical reports.
• Ensure proper maintenance of vouchers, ledgers, and accounting records in Tally.
• Perform periodic data verification and ensure accuracy of financial information.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Professional Tax returns.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in internal and external audits.

Payroll & Budgeting

• Oversee payroll processing and salary disbursement.
• Prepare annual budgets and monitor budget utilization.
• Analyze expenses and suggest cost-control measures.

Team Coordination

• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
• Coordinate with various departments for financial documentation and approvals.
• Ensure proper documentation and record management.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESI compliance.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in Educational Institutions, Hospitals, Manufacturing, or Corporate Organizations will be preferred.
