Atmosphere Wellness in Bengaluru is seeking an Accountant - Manufacturing to manage day-to-day accounting, cost control, inventory tracking and statutory compliance to support accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Job description

Accountant - Manufacturing

The Accountant Manufacturing will manage the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the manufacturing business, ensuring accurate records, effective cost control, inventory tracking, and statutory compliance. The role supports timely financial reporting, reconciliations, and transaction processing while working closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Sales, and Finance teams to maintain financial accuracy and support operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• - General Accounting & Financial Management: Maintain accounting records, process journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate recording of daily financial transactions.
• - Manufacturing Cost Accounting: Record production expenses, raw material costs, labour charges, and overheads to support accurate product costing and cost monitoring.
• - Inventory & Stock Control: Maintain inventory records, reconcile stock balances, monitor material movements, and coordinate with warehouse teams to investigate discrepancies.
• - Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process supplier invoices, track customer payments, reconcile outstanding balances, and ensure timely settlements and collections.
• - Taxation & Statutory Compliance: Assist with GST, TDS, and other applicable tax filings, statutory payments, documentation, and audit requirements.
• - Reporting & Financial Analysis: Prepare periodic financial reports, expense summaries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for management review.
• - Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Follow accounting procedures, maintain supporting documents, identify discrepancies, and assist in improving financial processes and controls.
