Job summary

Rose Lantern Realty is seeking a young and dynamic Accountant with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. You will handle GST compliance, IT returns, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will maintain books, assist in audits, and coordinate with internal teams and external authorities on accounting and compliance matters. Strong detail orientation and organised work habits are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GST, taxation, and compliance.
• Proficient in financial reporting and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely GST compliance including filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and ITC-04 returns.
• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) and Professional Tax (PT) returns within deadlines.
• Maintain books of accounts and financial records with accuracy.
• Prepare Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow Statements and other reports.
• Assist in GST reconciliation and ITC verification and related compliance activities.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide documents during audits.
• Monitor receivables, payables, bank transactions and expenses.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, taxation, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain documentation for all financial and statutory transactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external authorities.
