Job summary

Inveris Solutions LLP is seeking a reliable Accounting & Bookkeeping Officer to support an Australian accounting and advisory practice in Jaipur. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping for 40+ client files, perform reconciliations, payroll, and assist with BAS, IAS, and GST preparation.

The role requires strong English communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, along with Excel for data tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com), CA Intermediate, CMA Intermediate, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting/bookkeeping, preferably with exposure to Australian accounting processes.
  • Experience with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Australian accounting practices.
  • Have good English communication skills with clear reading, writing, and speaking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients, including data entry, reconciliations, and payroll.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Prepare and reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
  • Assist with BAS, IAS, and GST preparation.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and support senior accountants in resolving discrepancies.
  • Work with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
  • Use Microsoft Excel for data cleaning, basic formulas, and accounting-related tasks.
  • Maintain complete job notes, supporting documentation, and follow internal workflows.
  • Maintain strong communication skills and communicate professionally with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with Australian government agencies such as ATO and ASIC.
  • Draft and respond to emails and correspondence in clear English.
  • Follow compliance requirements, procedures, and deadlines.
