Job summary

Placenest Services Private Limited is seeking an Account Executive to join our finance team in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The role focuses on journal entries, GST and TDS compliance, and preparing financial statements with accuracy.

The candidate will support daily accounting tasks, manage receivables and payables, and assist in closing activities with attention to detail and strong MS Office and ERP/Tally skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Accounting/Finance (B.Com or M.Com) or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing or CA/CMA firms.
• Proficient in accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong organization and time management.
• Detail-oriented with numeric accuracy.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with ERP/Tally/SAP.

Responsibilities

• Record and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately documented.
• Manage accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and tracking payments.
• Take care of GST (GST R1, GST 2B or related) filing and compliance.
• Manage TDS deduction, deposit.
• Handle accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements in compliance with legal and company guidelines.
• Review expenses, records, and other assigned financial data.
• Update and maintain financial databases for accuracy and accessibility.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Support senior accountants in monthly and yearly closing activities.

Requirements

• Must have experienced with Tally Software
• Education: B. Com, M. Com, or related qualification in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience: 2+ years Manufacturing industry or CA/CMA firms or related.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in working with numbers.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices
