Job summary

Bay Mortgage Services is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build innovative and robust software solutions. The role involves analyzing operational feasibility, developing and documenting solutions, and improving software systems, all while ensuring information confidentiality. Candidates should have a strong background in programming (Java, Ruby on Rails, C++), relational databases, and web development frameworks. A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering is preferred, along with a solid software engineering pedigree.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
• Ability to develop software in Java, Ruby on Rails, C++ or other programming languages.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
• Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Proficiency in software engineering tools.
• Ability to document requirements and specifications.
