Job summary

Accordion India seeks a detail-oriented NetSuite practitioner to support and enhance the ERP environment for a private equity portfolio. You will lead standardization, reporting improvements, and system optimization across entities while supporting day-to-day administration and project work.

The role requires 6–9 years of NetSuite experience, strong financial process knowledge, and collaboration with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to enable efficient workflows in a fast-paced PE environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 6–9 years of NetSuite administration or ERP analyst experience.
• Strong understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Inventory).
• Proficiency building saved searches, custom reports, forms, and workflows.
• Experience with multi-entity NetSuite environments.
• Exposure to Suite Analytics, simple workflows, or basic scripting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Configure NetSuite modules - conduct workshops to gather requirements and map processes.
• Assist with system configuration tasks such as custom fields, reports, and dashboards.
• Lead NetSuite ERP implementation or optimization projects across portfolio companies.

Role overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mid‑Level NetSuite practitioners to support and enhance the ERP environment across our private equity firm and its portfolio companies. This role requires working hours coverage of 1PM to 10PM IST to support our clients in EU and Americas.

Need hands‑on NetSuite experience, strong process understanding, and familiarity with multi‑entity financial operations. Much of this role will involve leading NetSuite ERP implementation projects. You will help drive standardization, reporting improvements, and system optimization while supporting both day‑to‑day administration and project‑based initiatives.

What will you do:

• Configure NetSuite modules - Conduct workshops to gather business requirements, map current processes, and perform gap analysis to design and build solutions
• Assist with system configuration tasks such as custom fields, forms, saved searches, reports, dashboards, and roles/permissions
• Assist implementation or optimization projects as portfolio companies adopt or expand NetSuite
• Maintain strong data integrity through data audits, cleansing, and validation processes
• Administer
• end and quarter‑end activities through reporting and data extraction
• Stay current with new releases of NetSuite - Participate in testing of new features, integrations, and system upgrades
• Document system processes and configuration to support consistent standards across portfolio companies
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and IT teams to understand business needs and support efficient workflows
• Provide NetSuite support for the PE firm and portfolio companies, including user assistance, issue triage, and basic troubleshooting as part of hyper care
• Assist in onboarding new users and providing basic training across multiple entities

Ideally, you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business
• 6–9 years of NetSuite administration or ERP analyst experience
• Strong understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Inventory)
• Proficiency building saved searches, custom reports, forms, and workflows
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced PE environment with multiple entities
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Experience with multi‑entity NetSuite environments
• Exposure to Suite Analytics, simple workflows, or basic scripting concepts
• Deep understanding of multiple end‑to‑end business processes (Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing) that lead into to accounting functions
• Experience with integration tools (OIC, MuleSoft, Celigo, Boomi, etc.)
• Experience with other ERP systems (Oracle ERP, Acumatica, SAP B1)
