Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced IAM Operations Manager to join its Cyber Security team in Hyderabad. You will oversee day-to-day IAM operations, manage user onboarding/offboarding, and enforce robust access controls across multiple applications and systems.

The role requires 7–10 years of IAM experience, hands-on expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, SailPoint or CyberArk, and the ability to lead and mentor the IAM operations team while driving governance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on IAM operations experience.
• Experience leading IAM operations teams and mentoring junior members.
• Strong understanding of access management policies and governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IAM operations, including user onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning.
• Ensure appropriate access controls are implemented and maintained across applications and systems.
• Lead periodic access reviews, certifications, and audit-ready activities.
• Monitor and resolve IAM incidents and service requests within SLAs.
• Drive automation and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
• Manage IAM technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with Security, HR, IT, and business teams to support secure identity lifecycle management.
• Lead and mentor IAM operations team members while ensuring service quality, governance, and risk reduction.
• Utilize Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Huddle Boards for work tracking, documentation, team collaboration, reporting, and operational governance.

Were looking for consultants in the cyber security team to work on various Identity and Access Management projects for our customers across the globe. Also, the professional shall need to report any identified risks within engagements and share any issues and updates with the leadership/management on a timely basis. In line with EYs commitment to quality, youll confirm that work is of the highest quality as per EYs quality standards and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer. As an influential member of the team, youll help to create a positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop. As a member of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team this position will contribute towards execution of an IAM roadmap that meets security requirements, implementation and adoption of secrets management, management of machine identities and definition of access policies that meet their needs and are in line with overall IAM Program.
