Project Role: Application Tech Support Practitioner

Project Role Description: Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world-class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.

Work Experience: 4-6 years

Work Location: Bengaluru

Must Have Skills:
1. IBM WebSphere administration including installation, configuration, security, and monitoring
2. Configuring and troubleshooting of WebSphere Application server components
3. Performance tuning and well versed with performance related issues
4. Application Server and Web Server migration related activities like upgrades, deployments etc
5. Latest critical and security patches installation
6. Automation using shell scripts or PowerShell

Technical Experience:
1. Minimum of 4 – 6 years of experience in IBM WebSphere MQ and IBM WebSphere Application administration
2. Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in either of these technologies: Oracle WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, IIS, Biztalk, MuleSoft, Liferay Portal, Oracle Fusion, MQ Series etc
3. 1 – 3 years of Operating System / knowledge of system commands and structures
4. Experience with prioritizing work requests
5. Understanding and experience in backup, recovery Experience supporting interfaces

1. Good communication written and oral and interpersonal skills
2. Good customer service skills
3. Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within schedule
4. Ability to resolve technical issues and escalate issues when appropriate
5. Ability to learn new technologies and tools
