Job Description

N.P.S. International Academy is looking for a future-ready Academic Director to lead the schools academic development from the foundational years onward.

The candidate will be responsible for curriculum planning, teacher development, academic quality, assessments, student learning outcomes and long‑term academic strategy. The role requires the ability to build a strong academic system that develops conceptual understanding, critical thinking, Olympiad‑level reasoning and age‑appropriate foundations for future pathways such as Engineering, Medical Sciences, Civil Services, Law, Economics, Management, Technology and Research.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long‑term Nursery–Class XII academic roadmap.
• Lead curriculum, content, assessment and academic resource development.
• Recruit, mentor, train and evaluate teachers.
• Develop strong conceptual learning, reasoning and application‑based education.
• Use AI, Excel, ERP, academic data and digital learning tools effectively.
• Identify learning gaps and advanced learners through academic analytics.
• Build systems for continuous teacher and student performance improvement.
• Maintain high standards of English and Hindi communication.
• Introduce new educational practices while maintaining alignment with CBSE requirements.
• Work with management to build a scalable academic system for the next 10 years and beyond.

Candidate Profile

Master’s Degree + B.Ed. preferred/required as applicable. M.Ed./Ph.D. will be an advantage.

The candidate should have strong experience in school academics, curriculum development, teacher training and academic leadership. Excellent command of English and Hindi, along with good computer proficiency, is expected.

Knowledge of AI tools, MS Excel, digital education, assessment systems and data‑driven academic planning will be strongly preferred.
