Job summary

AbsoluteLabs is seeking an experienced AWS Developer to design, build, deploy cloud-native applications on AWS in a serverless and microservices driven environment.

You will implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation and craft robust CI/CD pipelines while optimizing performance, security, and cost across AWS services. Collaboration with architects and DevOps is essential to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of serverless computing and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Good understanding of cloud security, networking, and monitoring.
• AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Solutions Architect certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications on AWS.
• Build and maintain serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
• Develop and manage microservices-based architectures.
• Work with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, and SNS/SQS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
• Optimize application performance, security, and cost on AWS.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring high availability.
